It's like doing head bolts:

I just pulled 2 p72 blocks apart and one p72 head, pulley side always got #1.

Arrows point toward the front( timing belt side) of the engine, and the number 1 cap goes at that end as well.

I know that cap #1 starts on the pulley side, just wasn't sure which way the arrows would point
