doesnt really sound liek he did anything wrong since he was in a parking lot nowhere near the president. and they seem to be making to big of a deal about the scope formula, they even said he didnt have a rifle on him so wtf does that have to do with anything? not like he had a MSpaint picture of him shooting the president

He wasnt in a parking lot, he was at the gate at the end of the runway as the plane was taxiing to take off.  When the plane got close he got out of the car and said something across a hand-held radio. Thats when they spotted him.

That airport is surrounded on 3 sides by woods.  If someone wanted to do something they wouldnt sit in a pontiac grand prix and act like a cop.  Guy is just a fuckin idiot.
