Are you guys that buy from Goldfarb running their "good, rebuildable" cores? Running them as is? Reviews?
I'm looking for either a holset or a schwitzer, something like at a minimum of an hx35, or as high as an hx40. But I'm afraid I may be surging with the hx40. Motor is a built bottom end sr20 (8.5:1), and will also be receiving cams and intake work when I go with a bigger snail. Looking to put down at LEAST 400, and would like to have the room in the turbo to get to the 500 mark.

why would you want an hx40 for 400whp. an hx35 should theoretically support 500. not sure if anyones pushed one.

an he351w would probably be the perfect medium

I've ran a holslut or 2 from them as a rebuildable core. My a6/y8 vitara was from there which was mint.

Check out ohio state truck parts as well.

Flipnog is an idiot call a business alot of people have gotten off ebay since its just chinesse garbage. I bought my holset from them like a month ago.

I will not buy some chinese turbo. Some SMALL things I will, but I have a moral problem sending money overseas for an inferior product. I can't believe you would point me to a chinese ebay seller, flip. Support your local nogs man!

As for Goldfarb being trusted, I've heard nothing but great things about them. I was more interested in which turbos people were running from them, and just how good their cores are. I figure worst case though, rebuild kit is <$100. So long as the wheels, housings, and shaft is good to go. I got an email from Saul last week for some $100 powerstroke cores, along with injectors, and pumps. Gonna send him an email and see what's up with a non vgt 351.

Ok, gotcha man. Chris' posts was kinda ran together and I mis read it, pretty badly.
Also, the china men didn't force anyone out. They were/are all forced out by our own fucking people. I guess a few bucks is worth a shitty product, horrid shipping, and zero after the buy customer service.

What customer service cdm part is underpriced known to be crap you get what you pay for.



Like I said alot of companies have gotten back to good ole fashion phone and getting away from the internet. i recommend calling ohio and leaving messages it took 2-3 for them to call me back but they did. I bought my turbo off Ohio and for a used turbo its about as nice as it gets.



Make friends with small independent companies because they are gold in terms of helping and guess what a white person who speaks English talks to you,hoooray!!!!!!!!!



I have bought turbos from both companies and approve both.

I called Ohio Truck Parts to see if they would get me a price on a VGT.  Mother fucker said he would call me back and I haven't heard a god damn thing.
