I wasnt really going for the 'hella flush' look, just dumped with some wheels with low offsets...IIRC my car is one of the lowest in the states that actually has proper suspension setup, that being:
shortened strut tubes
strut inserts for a 97 saab 900
Coleman racing coilover sleeves
Kaplhenke Racing ball-joint spacers, steering quickeners, bump-steer correctors (its a nice cast and machined piece)
Hyperco 300lbx8" coilover springs
ipd 25mm front sway
23mm rear sway
short shocks in the back (some summit brand specials for lowered trucks)
chopped stock turbo springs in the back (so I can still get some decent weight transfer)

Chopping springs is actually giving you the opposite of weight transfer unless you  intentionally make it squat in the back. Reasoning for this: When you shorten a spring or relieve it of coils the spring rate goes up.

I think he means he's using a sorta-stiff spring vs a crazy-stiff spring (aftermarket).

Yeah, the normal setup guys do on these cars is using almost even spring rates all around (300/300 is a usual setup)....stock turbo springs are rated at 150-ish lbs...so chopped a bit, they are about 200lbs now.

On the note of the diff, 240s never came with IRS, they are all straight axle cars using a Dana 30 rear end...currently I am just running a welded up diff...after I break the next one I am about to install, its going to get a shortened Ford 8.8" from an exploder.
