What causees this code? anyone ever had this sensor go bad? was doin a hard pull on freeway and it came on and wont go away.

Look inside your distributor cap. Orange dust = bad bearing, dizzy on it's way out. If you replace the bearing (iirc bronze bushing), it may be okay. If left unfixed, it will eventually cause contact/wear on the sensors themselves. There's also a chance it could be bad wiring, but unlikely.

Last friday 13th this was one of the many issues I had that day. Next day it was gone and never came back.

Helms has a flowchat for checking the sensor, wiring, and ecu for faults. Mine all tested fine, but my battery clamps were also loose & dirty and the only issue I could find with mine.

ok I'll check. haynes said to use a ohm meter but didn't say what it should be at.

 whats up on the injectors?

IIRC it was something like 350-700 ohms. The main thing is infinate or super-low resistance indicates a big problem.



I just got Sewell's inj controller wired up, but I'll be testing it on the "1000cc" injectors. I'm off wed & thurs so I hope to DO WORK on that, maybe even finish my controller too. Unfinished projects drive me nuts.
