Well, Stevo scraped the carbon out of his dist cap and went back out in the turbo H22. I had the boost way down so, on 23" slicks, she had minimal wheelspin in first gear and none in any other gear, 2.0 60's with 12.52 and 12.48@117. I turned up the boost in second and third, still no wheelspin past first gear but he completely missed 4th gear and coasted through the traps with a 12.66 so there was DEFINITELY an improvement there. Can't wait to get it to the 1/8th mile and let him work with it more. Also, he'll likely be on TV... he cut a wagon out of the hole pretty hard and then had the wagon come past him on it's rear wheels, dragging it's bumper, super impressive footage; sad to say it's not for his car, but 95% chance you'll see him on TV.
In other news, Tony Palo raced the RLZ hatch, they both did 9.01@167. On the return lane Tony's car broke a cam gear (end of a cam?) at ~2000 rpms, took out some valves. Sucks, but I'll bet there've been a couple tweaks he's wanted to make that he couldn't justify while the car was still together and running so fucking strong, I'm kinda interested in what he does.
Anyway, I get to pull a nice week of finishing this drag car. I have to say I like how spacious the chassis is.
