Help plan a road trip
« on: April 29, 2009, 11:37:22 PM »

So I'm planning on going on a little road trip now that I've been laid off.  I'm tentatively going from Chicago to Denver to New Mexico and back to Chicago.  I will need to stop once between Chicago and Colorado and once between New Mexico and Chicago.  I will be camping as long as the weather isn't too terrible.  I would like to stay in some kind of cool, scenic, etc area.  Any suggestions?

That is going to be hard because the distance between chicago and colorado.

Unless you go through S. Dakota (western part) then shot done to colorado through wyoming.

Going through S Dakota then South to CO would add about 500 miles.  Looks like I'm stuck camping in Nebraska somewhere

that sucks  ;D

Maybe you can stop in Omaha and A display of the SR-71 blackbird that help make travelling the Nebraska a little easier.
