gran turismo 5
« on: May 13, 2013, 07:52:51 PM »

I bought it and a driving force wheel. Pretty fun.

Anyone else play? It's hard to find people who pretend they are driving real cars rather than bash them off the walls and other stupid shit

No time for video games. Plus, the once a year I do play some sort of game I always wonder why after a little bit. It's time spent doing something, that gains absolutely nothing.

Not much of a game playing fan. The few times I did play recently it consisted of Mario Bros or something dumb. Only game I ever really played and Liked was Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon.

Bought it the day it came out.  Online is shit, impossible to find decent races and the "performance points" system is fucked because it's not affected by tires, wtf?

Might be a different story if I had a wheel, but I can't justify the prices rigs and the wheels that work on both PS3 and xbox because I try to play Forza.  But the whole genre is just lost on me and I was the Gran Turismo queen of HMT back in the day haha.

I guess the last time I played GT5, I was still just building drift cars and fucking around online without racing.

i have a few people i play with that only race legit and clean. its still pretty fun. but the performance points system is idiotic and biased towards lower powered cars.

how can a m3 csl have less performance points than a c4 corvette? its retarded

I have a hacked ps3 so I loaded a bootleg copy of GT5 on.  I tried to load in a special save file to give me every car and unlimited cash but it corrupted the game so now I have to load it again and try to get the hack to work.  The PS3 barely gets turned on anymore, if I game I try and do it with the xbox kinect which is fun and a good workout.

I race with a group that has a forum up online. Races every single weekend. Not "professional" serious but serious enough to where the competition is good.

crap.boards.net

Add me.
