Now i need some help from you guys. So my i have an EK hatch with a motor swap in it still has Washington plates tabs are not up to date and i need to renew them. I live, Now in the state of CA Sacramento. What do i need to do to get my tabs renewed? I've went online and checked if i could do a renewal online but it states that i need to pass WA state emissions but i live in the state of CA. I've gone ahead and did some more research on it and was wondering if anyone has done an (Application for out-of-area temporary exemption from Emission Testing). How would you approach this? and can i get some Insight? slap a nigga with some knowledge please

How long will you be in CA? I'm pretty sure unless you are military you'll need to register your car in CA.
The CA dmv will only give you a 60-90 day temp registration so don't go there till you are absolutely ready to try and get it registered.
You'll need a dirty smog, cause I'm assuming your swap is not legal in CA
