gsr crx stumbles at 7k rpm
« on: May 28, 2009, 11:37:12 AM »

smoochie boochie, bitchez smoochie boochie, bitchez thought this was a ecu issue but its obviously not....

http://dragcityvideos.com/index.php?p=videoplay&vid=1A440E76-A5B0-C08F-0BEF-60442951407F

at 3 secs in it stumbles at 7k rpm

12 secs in it stumbles at 7k rpm then passes 7k rpm in next gear with no problem

35 secs in it stumbles at 7k rpm

53 secs in it stumbles at 7k rpm

sometimes a stumbles is like what it is in the video.. it just drops like 200 rpm or so then shoots right back up.. annoying at best...

but sometimes when it stumbles it will fall flat on its face and even with the throttle at wot the rpm will continue to drop to 5k rpm then it will pick up... and pass 7k rpm no problem... tried to get that on video but couldnt.

Sucks your motor is smoking and it's not even boosted yet. Did you get jibbed on the GSR motor or what? Get a low mile LS block and go LS/VTEC

compression test was like +/- 3 225 or 235 i forgot... all across the board....

leak down test was 100% no leaks no nothing....

my motor is fucking healthy so everyone needs to fuck off

i know its healthy because i beat the fuck out of it daily..

guy who did the leak down test claimed my plugs show that im running lean :-X

which is understandable because im running a pr3 basemap :p

lol so that could fix my problems when i get tuned who the fuck knows im sick of this fucking shit

just got back from beating the piss out of the whore for like 6 hours straight...

everyday i drive her like its her last..

when i first did the compression test with the motor out of the car i got 255 255 255 185 +\- 13 or so
but now a proper compression test with the motor warmed up suprised the fuck out of me...

SMOKE entering the CABIN was from the wiring harness loom hole which was left open and the breather is aimed in its direction.. now i have a filter on the breather and i plugged the firewall hole = no more smoke inside...

going to be installing a catch can tomorrow or the next day..

boost here i fucking come.

i fucking love this slut...

100% no leakage, thats pretty impressive.. lol most normal engines are around 10-15% leakage, and a very well built engine, with maybe total seal rings would be around 5%..

You my sir have built the best sealed engine ever!
