Are you controlling the VGT or just have the vanes in a fixed position?

this is what i found out about the vgt if you just put a spring on it that holds it closed the exhaust presure will open up on it on then the spring will pull it back closed.

Interesting what sort of spring did you use? At what point does it start to open?

no idea when at what point it opens. This is what happen i would set the turbo to closed vgt with nothing holding it back. My turbo would not spool up at all. i would stop and look at it it would be all the way open. so put a spring from a hardware store on it to hold it closed but could turn the vgt by hand then when i stop turning it the spring would pull it back. It sounds like no other turbo i have heard.
I spool 10 psi by 3000-3200 rpms its amazing and so fun

You've obviously been to the track.  Where's the timeslip?

Good hmt setup, but where's the homemadeporn.  You have access to two excellent studios in the background of this pic...

Not just as easy as "yanking" it out with that turbo, drilling required.

when mine gets here, ill do whatever it takes to get that out, if necessary ill break out the motherfucking torch... that was the first thing i did to my HX35. It still had the flanges capped...

Whats with the f2b?  Everything else seems budget-oriented for the most part, but the f2b is $$$$.
