You mean the ones that lost anything that made them unique or more specifically suited to particular jobs when they switched over to Intel Windows processors?  At this point they are computers for idiots... they are easier to use because they only have one mouse button, you know.

No offense to all mac-users, I know not all are idiots, but that's what they're marketed to.

I am glad they use x86 procs instead of powerpc though, otherwise I would have needed to buy one of those overpriced computers to fuck with iPhone dev, and now I can just use vmware.

Meh.

There were significant and considerable strengths to the classic crApple hardware architecture compared to traditional Intel designs.  Now, it's just fucking retarded, and crApple owners are all idiots.

It is fixed. Supposedly the issue was our Edmonton and Red Deer locations were getting a new internet provider, as well as we just did a clean install on our one server. Now supposedly when they setup the ip's in the branch's they had some sort of ip conflict and blocked a section of ip address's till they had the time to sort out which one was causing the problem.

I personally think it is BS, and they were just caught off guard that I would raise hell about it, so they reversed it and made up this story. What is most disturbing to me, is not that they blocked it, but that everyone would lie about who made the call.
