Pork chops and potatoes
« on: September 05, 2009, 08:29:11 PM »

4 pork chops, like 1/2" thick
3 potatoes, cut up in pieces
can of stewed tomatoes
Splash of worcestershire sauce
Some cheap low salt marinate
1/2 cup of water

I used pork chops with bones as they were one sale. Cut the excess fat off, pour the marinate on them. I let them soak about 2 minutes and then threw them in the skillet on medium- medium high. Cook about 5 minutes on each side.

Add everything else and simmer for 45 minutes. Might could do two cans of stewed tomatoes as one can wasn't much.

It didn't look that good but damn it was delicious. Pork was pretty tender and potatoes were good. Might wanna add some more seasoning to it but I put a little pepper on the potatoes and it was great.

I actually enjoy cooking alot. Its nice to just make a meal on the cheap that tastes great and you can grub on for days.

Once fall hits the crock pot will be back in action wwith lots of stews/soups. Pot roast sounds great about now.

It looks nasty. Taste great though. If you like pork and potatoes anayway. It's kinda like some chineese rice dishes, they look weird and nasty but taste really good.
