Those are easy to reflash; in the euro scene those are the cheap Hondas found everywhere.  Interested?

Always. In fact it is getting a reflash, and some sticks, and do the egr delete at Christmas. My buddy Mark owns http://dieselinside.com/

Does the tactrix cable work?

Not directly with existing software, but it is set up to be able to mimick most any serial data stream you can imagine traversing an OBD2 port.  It'd require some programming, but can be supported.

Yeah I was gonna say, it seems all the new stuff (mk5-) any CU lockouts are done in firmware, not the k-line restriction we were discussing on the mk4s and audis.

Working on a mk5 TDI right now.  Fucking thing hauls ass for what it is.

Yes.  Id say they are about back to the reliability scale as the digifant cars. Not too much goes wrong, but the shit that does is always weird.

I'll try to have an answer for you by the end of the day as I have ScanXL-ELM and PCMScan installed on my laptop, and I can compare sample rates with the "better" software.

Tactrix 2.0 is supported by Binary Editor, but I don't have one so no comment on sample rate.  EECtuning.org is a great place to ask, IMO.

The Innovate gear claims 12 samples/sec on up to 16 simultaneous channels.  That's fast enough to tune off of.  I have an LM-2 coming to verify that claim with, although I do not doubt it.

Care to share any .xdf's you have for OBD2 GM stuff?
