Honda Core/Freeze Plug Compatibility? v.bolock.heater

Anyone know if K series engines share the same size core plug as B and D series engines.

Looking to install a block heater this weekend if I can get my hands on one.  It is looking like the dealer is the only place that I will be able to source one, and IU doubt they will have one in stock for a D16.

Found a different route to take with one that goes into the lower radiator hose.  Looks like I am picking one up this evening.  I'm gonna install that shit at work tomorrow.

This one should actually fit when the turbo makes its way into the bay as well.

Hah!  Took a little bit of digging, but I did find the answer in a manufacturer's catalog.  They are indeed the same.  28 mm for pretty much all of the aluminum block engines.

They sell block heaters that are magnetic and stick to the oil pan to, that could work pretty well

It is -28C (-18F) out right now with a nice steady 12km/h (7.5mph) wind, making it a stay inside, -38C (-36F) outside.

I picked up one of the heaters that installs in the lower radiator hose, now that I think about it, I don't think it will work with a Honduh cooling system.

I may try it just to satisfy my own curiosity though.
