Powdercoat scares me. The T6 that AL is aged to is done at lower temps than most powdercoat bakes at. Makes the metal more brittle. Might not be an issue on a street car, biut I wouldn't go near a road race car with pc'd rims.


I just sprayed a set of buddy club P1/kosei K1s for my mr2 in john deere blitz black. Its supposed to be pretty close to indestructable once cured. Went on amazingly well from a spray can too. I dig the satin black look for wheels though.

I had a engine block powdere coated for my turbo mazda b2200 back in the day and the bare metal had pretty colors in it from getting so hot  :?:
