Built 5 setups in the past 5 years for my personal rides and in the process of buildning something new. Also boosted 3 local rides. Charged 1200 for each one. Local ricers are lazy but have deep pockets.

My turn around is 45 days max. How these guys get away with that kind of service is beyond me.

most local shops ive dealt with (using other peoples parts) have a reaaal quick turnaround, maybe 2 weeks... i always ask if they have the time to get started on it THAT DAY and if they dont then why bother.... everyone just leaves parts laying around and just waits until the customer threatens to sue or just gives up and kills themselves

Turbo'd a 93 accord that gave me the nickname the tc ricer when I lived in mn.  It had a dsm setup on it

First car was a 84 300zx turbo
88 shadow es turbo with some mods
87 shelby csx with some mods
82 yamaha seca 650 turbo total pos

i had a 95 honda coupe with a b16a turbo. two motors and two setups and getting arrested took care of my money. several years down the road now and i have a collection of turbos and parts even after selling a bunch. two hatches 89 std, and 91 si that i plan on getting a turbo on in the near future(was the plan when i picked it up a year and half ago). my problem is that i like to buy cars. any car. could be cheap shitty cars, or just something i want. i almost always have 4-5 cars in the driveway. right now i have 6 a snowmobile a streetbike, and trying to get a dirtbike. but hopefully i can get my shit together and put my time in one car and get motivated. cars, guns, and food is the main drain on my money. strippers and vegas might come in second after i went earlier this month. i spent under a grand in total, thats including plane tickets, hotel, car rental, strippers,gambling, buffets, shooting a tommy gun, robbing strippers, more gambling, proposing to a violin lady, and car jacking a car full of girls.

Need to get suspension RIGHT on the 91 EX 4 door slushbox, then get the motor swapped on the 95 DX slushbox. Once both of those are back to running right one will get a tiny turbo, likely the Y8 91 since is has no AC or PS in the way.

Lets not forget the 89 CRX HF which "might" get a SOHC Type R motor next winter, no way I could boost THAT motor.

Great cheap 4dr EF setup: 94-01 GSR springs with 2-3 coils off each (3 front/2 rear = 1" wheel gap) along with illuminas (or agx/etc). Corners very well & rides very nice (never had a girl complain). Never bottomed that setup out, nor did I ever scrap the frame - and that's driving like I stole it.

It is already slammed on 350/450 springs, I'm raising it back up onto H&R OEM Sports.
