Well, havn't done much in a long time on this, but finally got my lazy ass into the garage today and got it back on all 4s.  Have to order some swedged tube to finish the traction bar, figure out brakes, get a new ECU and a few little touches and this bitch is on the road again.

Got some more time on it this weekend.  First time I did any welding in 6 months so my welds look like crap but they still hold.  Got the traction bar just about complete.  Also worked on making new mounts to get the 1/2 width radiator in.  Forgot to order jam nuts but those are on orders now.  Still have a few welds to finish up but pretty much ready to go.

Needed to make some new tabs to put the radiator isolators on.  Only sheet metal I had was this old computer so I just cut a chunk out of the case.

roughed in the new tabs for the radiator mounts.

tabs tacked in for a test fit.

EG Fan shroud is close but I think it will be enough clearence.

Still need to make an upper mount but looks like it is supposed to be there

Speedway motors.  They are 1/2" swedged tubes and 1/2" heims.

Is that the weir kit? I can't find 2" tubing that isn't crazy expensive to put mine together.

I might just have to nut up and spend the money ordering something online. There is no metal in my area to be found except the shitty Home Depot selection.

I have a JK bar on my turbo EF hatch, but the big block crx needs one and I figure ill put the weir kit on it

I think weir sells a 1.5" kit now, not the 2". He didnt offer the 1.5" when I got mine for my crx back in the day. Wish i could have got the 1.5" instead.

I can tell you that its not the 2" kit. Mine were way larger than that.

Mine is the 1 1/2.  No way it is 2"  Still pretty solid though.

1.75" would be perfect cause that tubing is everywhere. I'm sure 1.5-2" are all plenty strong enough. I jack my car up with my JK bar and it doesn't look like it even flexes, I think that's 1.25" square tubing.

I used black iron pipe from home depo, it was $15 and SUPER thick! I can jack up the car from the middle of the tube and there is ZERO flex!

Well, been a while sense I posted up here.  Still slowly working on this pile.  Got some time in over the last two days to work on painting it.  Sprayed it with 3 coats of high build primer, wet sanded, and put on 4 coats of color.  Then started working on the doors and hatch. Will try to get paint on those tonight.  Here is where it sits so far.

205 40 17 I think.  They are not mine.  I need to give them back to the guy I got the CRX from once I take them off.  I will let him know though.  I know he wants to sell the wheels.
