+1, I can figure out how to road tune the fuel map... Well sorta just takes a long time, but have no idea where to start with the timing.

Basics on how to use a certain program, or how to actually tune?

The latter would require A LOT of time and the process of tuning changes from one person to the next. Too much work to be really worth it.

I think everyone has a certain process they go through.  I know I generaly go about a street tune in the same basic steps.
A crome specific write up would be appropriate for the real HMT though.

Road tune in crome, look at the fuel tables in the graph mode, not table mode. You want all your lines to be somewhat smooth, there shouldn't be a huge dip in one line and not in the other.

there's my helpful hint

I live by that one.  Others will simply make changes to get to their target AFR in table view and call it good.  It doesn't sit well with me, but I still consider myself to be quite a noob in the tuning world.  Still need to tune on the positive pressure side of the map.

lol.

Also for Crome, the IACV slider is an absolute last resort.  Set the TPS, minimum air, AFR, ignition timing, and idle air screw before you try to fix an idle issue with the IACV slider.

Just my $0.02 worth.

I'd like to do it with video's but I don't have ANYTHING.. Shop burnt down on sunday. Lost 15K in tools, 100k+ engines, All my specialty tools for my boat business.

My brothers car is in the left shop burnt to a crisp.

And all I could save.

Shity thing, I grabbed 5 fire extinguishers and they where all compacted in the bottom so no chem would spray out.

Leaking gas fitting on the heater. Left the shop on Sunday walked into the house to eat around 11am, neighbor comes pounding on the door saying he saw smoke, I ran out saw that it was decently small fire, rounded up 5 fire extinguishers and all 5 where fucked up, grabbed the hose and ran back towards the shop and the hose tangled and broke right off the spikit. Fire department is under 1 mile away, they made it when it was just barely going, but they managed to only have 200 gallons of water on the truck and the closest fire hydrant is 2400 feet away (24 hoses they had to hook together and 3 pump trucks to get the water to the garage.)

I'll post all the pictures I have tomorrow. (Later today) I'm filling out pages and pages of the shit I lost for insurance.

They checked out with full pressure. But the chemicals on the bottom where packed from not being shaken every 6 months.

That really sucks, man. Good thing the garage wasn't connected close to your house or whatever. My crx caught onfire in my connected garage and I thought my parents house going up, I was 16 at the time, only thing around was a bucket of anti-freeze and that didn't help, tried to push the car out of the garage but a jackstand got bound up underneath right where the fire was in the car, then took my cherokee and yanked it out of the garage. At least you tried to save your stuff..alot of people would have just ran around like an idiot like I did. Hopefully your insurance covers that stuff.

my brothers house burnt a year ago last sunday. He finally just got back into his house. he lost everything, like you did. Im assuming you had insurance. Everything worked out great in the end, once the bullshit got all settled. He came out ahead on the entire thing.

On the tuning thing, id love to see a write up also.

Yeah it was just an endless cycle of things going wrong... I tried to fire up the forklift to rip the car in the garage off the jackstands but the tank ran out of propane right as it started..

The problem with shit like this is that in the hands of noobs its easy to blow shit up.  But everyone has to learn somewhere.  I found that the hardest part of tuning is the part throttle and mid load sites.  Pushing the timing is tough too, sometimes you can't hear the damn thing knock soon enough.

I'm going to build a det can.
