ok..........i'm curious. What the hell would you need sch 80 for?

Over building a traction bar. Mine was sch80, but thats all they had at the local suppler at the time. So I went with it. Use to use it to jack the whole front end of the car up from.

i am planning to make a write up on what you need, how much you need, links ect.

2 RH heim; http://www.speedwaymotors.com/Standard- ... ,7790.html

2 LH heim; http://www.speedwaymotors.com/Standard- ... ,7306.html

Then 2 swedged steel tubes; http://www.speedwaymotors.com/Swedged-S ... tabcontent

The tubes "Should" be 16" long. BUT i maybe wrong. I maybe test fitting everything this coming weekend. The tubes are threaded on either in for the RH heim and LH. If you need to adj you losen the locking nuts (link not included) and just spin. 5/8 is WAY over kill, BUT the price is cheap and I like over kill.

I should be making it come this weekend so I will update once it is done.

Double check the hole size for the bolts on weirs flange for the traction bar. If I remember correctly they are 1/2" house which means u need 1/2" hiem or drill the flange out to 5/8" hole.

http://www.summitracing.com/parts/AAF-ALL56417
Radius rods already 17" long and anodized gold.

http://www.summitracing.com/parts/CEE-3422/
Clevis bracket that works great for eg/dc LCA mounting bracket, width is a little much, i'll probably have to run bushings or shims or something to fill the gap.

http://www.summitracing.com/parts/CEE-3424/
PERFECT tabs if using 1 5/8" bar, I will take a 1.625" hole saw and shorten one of the tabs on each side so I get a 30 degree angle for the radius rod so the heim is not crooked.

http://www.summitracing.com/parts/FKB-ECM10/
Cheap heim's i'm gonna use, the car sees MAYBE 3k miles a year, and doesn't get driven in bad weather. I really don't think i'll wear these out within a year.

Jam nuts...duh...

i am planning to make a write up on what you need, how much you need, links ect.

2 RH heim (Price for 1/2 and 5/8 is the same $5.99); http://www.speedwaymotors.com/Standard-RH-Male-Heims,7790.html

FIX!

On my Dirt Late Model we use aluminum 5/8 tubes on everything and have no issues with them. they are pretty fucking strong, the only time we have ever bent one is in a crash.

Stuff is cheap and works good, I'm surprised people aren't using these parts more.

Your best bet would be to look into DOM, not pipe. 2.0" OD DOM, .200 wall would be roughly equivalent. It's not cheap, but it's not expensive. You could probably half your wall thickness with DOM and have the same yield strength or greater btw, DOM is mean shit.
