You can't recalubrate it from what I have read. Russ didn't you get one of the 14point7 wide bands?

Yeap 14point7 SLC pure plus, love it in the twincharged civic, they have an updated one since my purchase.

The basic install of it is in my build thread.

Miles better than the AEM UEGO I had for a short time.  :?:

I'm trying out a http://www.wide-band.com/content/apsx-d1-wbo-controller-and-g2-analog-gauge-full-kit in the 1g 'Teg project.

Got it with a digital display not with gauge, so I could mount in the gauge cluster.

Have not got the car to run to check out the WB abilities yet.  :noel:

JD liked the ngk unit. My bro in law had one in his gsx.  He liked it. Warm up was a little slow but other than that it was OK in my book. He picked his up right after it hit the market for $200 shipped on a group buy. I've had 2 plx unites now. My old trusty m 300 that's been running song for almost 10 years. And a new plx unit with the sm what ever the fuck it's called display. Liked both. I've had the m 300 display overheat and turn off once, but it was also in a heater vent at the time and the heat was on full blast for about 1 hr. Shut it down and let it cool off. Moved locations and haven't had a problem since.

i have had my PLX M300 since like 2003. love it. never misses a beat. although now that AJ said something, i have noticed it getting hot before. never an issue. just noted.

i bought another one, had some issues, but looks to have been my fault in wiring (loose ground)

this one is cheap...

The LC1's I have on my dyno go through sensors like a motherfucker.

I have a VEMS round wideband that's really good, combo EGT sensor but also uses bosch sensors.

I have an older 14point7 unit that I used to use wired directly to a spare ECU to tune with, it worked great, has a very high sample rate as well.

That Spartan would definitely make tuning easier with a rapid install/uninstall & less bulk. You could just wire an extra connector for power & inputs into your tuning ecu. Right now I have an LC1 in a box with some wire lugs for power & outputs, but it's too bulky. Also the Spartan Controller w/sensor is only $30 extra, which is $25 less than I usually see the sensors go for.
