I think all cop cars need to have turbo. nbspnbsp Then they would understand the necessity of putting your foot down and how uncontrollable the urge is to fucking rail on that shit.

That one moron liked his joke about the tranny swapping itself.  He said it like 4 fucking times.  I don't see how this is even possible.

That happend to me once, not as bad as this, This was when i didnt know shit about cars, i swaped a new clutch and forgot to put the dowel pins back on, needless to say that after 3 days of driving the car started bucking really nasty and it was getting hard to shift, then the tranny popped off while i was going 50mph on the street, pulled over and noticed all the tranny bolts had fallen off, I found one, and bolted it up real tight on top, then i bought some short ones at the hardware store, as i tried to make it home, the tranny snapped the shitty bolts off and ripped the shit out of the bell housing.

lesson learned. Dowel pins are there for a reason, and loctite is your friend.

Dowel pins have nothing to do with that.  Maybe you should put your purse down when tightening bell housing bolts.

Dowel pins are used for alignment and that's all.

Don't use threadlocker, 3m trim adhesive on the threads FTW.

Vibration will break the bond of the threalocker and the bolts will back out.   Trim adhesive will stay pliable and retain the bolts much better.

This is used by top race teams, and I learned of it after destroying a 700$ torque converter and front pump.

Damn. Looks like the flywheel bolts broke/sheered/backed off.

That happened to an accord I bought a while ago. I bought it with some weird noise that I thought was something to do with the clutch. Drove it home 2.5 hours and the next morning the car won't start anymore.

One of those pieces of shit resides in my driveway.  Fucking fail.

A few years ago Fidanza sold flywheels with bolts that backed out.  Never heard of one coming out like that, but plenty of bolts coming loose and fucking up the flywheel.

rear mount, the bolts pulled out, then the case split in the bell housing area.
