Meh.  The truck was empty and accelerated the same time the wrx did.  It didnt even LOOK like it was stuck.  Just needed a little boost. What you dont know is that the sti cracked all 4 pistons right after it pulled the truck out lol.

Probably not, the STi boxes are pretty bomb-proof.

Thats like when I pulled a jeep cherokee off a snowbank with my accord.  It wasn't that stuck, just needed a little help.  Still humiliating though.

Na even with an upgraded turbo their bomb proof. The syncros in the v7 6 speeds seem to be average after a few track days tho, they seemed to fix it in the v8 STI.

Cool story.

Peoplefucking idiots are crazy about those cars for some reason.  I've seen people buy two fucked up STi gearboxes for $1000 and mate them together to resale for $3500, and then liquidate the remaining parts for $600-800 more.

Yeah, Suby shit is even more retarded than K series stuff.

I only have experience with the ver 8 Sti tranny, all the other stuff might suck dicks, I don't know.

i pulled out a mini palm tree with my old turbo probe gt before.  it was funny to see the neighbors come out and see me spinning the tires and dragging a small palm tree around.
