My advice buy a 4 door 88-91 and keep it ugly and fast. Kick the car when angry and dont clean the car. It wont be stolen trust me.

The reason I'm okay with my rusty, dented, clearcoat-chipping, oil leaking del sol vtec. Nobody gives it a 2nd look until I crack mAd 3rd gEar V-TAK.


You could also invest in a $150 2-way alarm like an Avital 4400/Hornet 564t/etc (DEI AM-based 2-way). I also gained turbo timer, remote start and keyless entry with it. ATM I have some latching relays on the relocated main relay, ecu, and clutch switch - meaning they could yank the alarm out, but they'd have to tow it unless they rewired those components. They keep their possition even if you pull the main OR backup battery. That assumes they can even tilt the car 5* before the tilt sensor goes wild, or get a foot from the door w/o the warn-away telling them to GTFO N00B.

I hate alarm installations.  My buddies usually call a guy named Jay to install them for a dirty cheap price.
