Was going to trade up to the evo but for the price fuck it.

Just updated the hero to Android v2.27.6 (eclair) .... Very nice, smoother faster and solid.

Rooting now

i want an android. I just got an lg touch...its alright, but the droid is sweet... i love newbs tryin to flame people...very comical...they get so upset and say such silly things...don't be a hater

I got that droid incredible, already saved my life a couple times!

Woke up drunk 5:00 am on courthouse steps in some town and used the gps to find my way back to my buddys place.

Plus can surf the net, get stock quotes, turn by turn navigation, roadside assistance, pandora radio, buy and sell shit on ebay,

bells and whistles are legit

Ninja, load that shiz up with CyanogenMod.

There's a stable, fully-functional 2.1 rom for the G1 and I'd ASSume there's one for the hero as well but I could be wrong.

Actually...I think T-Mob is releasing an official 2.1 update for it (or maybe 2.2?)

Incredible and EVO 4G are both killer, although I'd have to lean towards the EVO 4G with its fancy huge screen.

I'm with T-Mobile and unfortunately both phones are CDMA, so I will probably end up with the Samsung Galaxy S which also has the awesome specs, and a Super AMOLED screen which is even better than Apple's gay "retina" display on the new iPhone.

Should have just got a good up to date phone, put on ebay, and continued to use your old one/buy a cheap one that does only what you want. I'm do for an upgrade on my Dare, thinking about doing this.
