Just you don't need your stock o2 in there then.

You don't need it, but if you have a spare hole it should be filled. If it's just the plug, you're best off putting a chopped plug into it (wires cut deep or removed). I've seen some unusual issues with a tiny handful of cars where it would toss a CEL code for O2, except O2 was removed and heater/O2 disabled.

Thats why I asked what ems. Ive seen crome freak out without a o2. Even with all that disabled. But that was years ago. Im sure they probably fixed bug that by now  ::)

And just a fyi, Leed once told me that for the most accurate reading your wideband should be about 10x the diameter of you pipe away in distance from your turbo.

2" down pipe 20" away from turbo
3" down pipe 30" away from turbo.

i have always used Innovate's rule of 18" or more from the turbo. i like to have a stock o2 in cars when i tune them. turn it off, make power, then turn it back on and tune the cruise for best mpg. a car will drive perfectly fine without it, but i prefer it there

i have always gotten a cel with crome when there was no sensor present. the car runs perfectly fine without it. you can make your own decision with that info
