F22a1 valve springs
« on: July 11, 2013, 12:15:39 PM »

Building a new motor on the dirty cheap. Any oem valve spring upgrade that will drop in besides the f22a6 valve springs? Worried about valve float at higher rev's and boost.

Find out your coil bind lift numbers, then shim them a to a safe amount below that number. Only use hardened shims, or at the very worst use them for the top & bottom shims.

I was thinking about that but since these are oem springs with untold miles idk if it would be a good idea :-\
