Silly noob question about cable to hydro conversion
« on: May 20, 2009, 07:33:08 PM »

Ok so I'm restoring the crx to its former glory and I want to put my Z6 shit in there.  I'm swapping harnesses out and all that, since I don't have a crx harness anyway.  I'm going to make a bracket to mount the clutch master cylinder under the dash, ok that's not a problem.  My question is "what do I do about the vss?"  I want to retain my crx cluster, but the hydro trans has an electronic vss.  Is the cable vss swapable into the hydro trans... or what can I do to correct the situation?  I'm assuming the crx cluster has an electronic vss built into it and it sends the ecu speed info...  WHAT DO I DO?!!  Help a noob nog plz.
