Can you post pictures of it?  I only ask to waste your time, and because Google Images is too difficult for me to use right now.

It's like a profec B but much simpler. There's just 3 knobs: gain, low boost setting, and high boost setting. I have a remote switch mounted near the shifter to switch between lo/hi boost.

What?! I dont understand how a pinhole sized leak in the compressor housing or filter could cause it to surge?

So what did you do to come to that conclusion?

Damn you why cant my problems be fixed by easy shit like that.

If the interfooler is undersized or is a high-quality unit with ultra-dense finage, that bit of pressure drop can amplify the pre-fmic boost leak. I wouldn't expect it to be that bad, but I can only guess the different efficiencies of the turbo wreak havoc with the profec's circuitry. That's assuming it's hooked up pre-fmic, where temps range from 100F to >200F.

I don't have a huge IC, it's a 6" JRC, wish I had the 8" model but this one seems to work fine.

The Profec is hooked up directly to the compressor housing of the turbo.
