Quad motors make torque or something?

No, it's a traction thing.   While the quad is fucking stout it's not making R6 power.  As such, it doesn't boil off the tires.

How much power does it make?

Why did he build that one rather than stuff a gsxr, r6, cbr 600cc bike motor in it?

Never been on the dyno but people with similar setup's on P.S. are getting around the 140whp range.

Bike motors are gay compared to 2-strokes.  O0   The powerband on this bikes makes it 1000 times more fun to ride then a bike motor.  and also It really comes down preference.  The same reason why people run Honda's instead of rwd V8's.  Plus this motor makes more power then a 600cc bike with half the engine weight.

My friend Stuart has an 04 Honda 400 EX with an R6 engine in it.  He hasn't cleaned it up fully yet, but even stretched and on slicks it doesn't run that fast in the 1/8th.  His best is a 7.4 @ 94 or so.  It might stroll on by on the back half of the 1/4, but probably not.  6 tenths difference in the 1/8th is a hell of a lead to try and overcome.

Lol, you need to read up on 2-stroke motors.  When this bike had the 421cc motor it was making more then R6 power.  A 421 puts down 90-100whp all day on pump gas.  Hell, 2 years ago at quadfest the final round was between a 421cc Banshee and a Quadzilla with an R1 motor and the Banshee smoked him.  And he was running an R1 motor.  Just becuase it came from a motorcycle doesn't mean it's automatically faster and more powerful
