I scraped by in High School. Does it mean im to dumb to understand the financial system of the us, no. Besides mathematics and basic writing i didn't learn/study shit. I found that i was much happier learning about things related to automotive, making money and business practices related to making money. "Street smart" is a term we toss around too much, it feels like a hood rich term that often is used to label those who dropped out of school and live in ghetto's. In my case i would rather think of what i have learned as "Practical Education" none of the dumb-ed down shit they teach in public school.

So really we can talk all day about how the average person who scraped by in high school understands a basic level of knowledge surrounding the credit crisis, and at the same tiem we can have those who knew how to hear/read something 3 times, take a test and pass High School with a 3.8-3.9 who don't understand shit.
