You shouldnt HAVE to update SHIT if youre happy with a version you have, once things are proven to be stable, then you can update to what you like. I for one dont like being made to beta test shit I dont want to fuck with... Untill I know its better than what I have, not being able to use the software because I havent updated , and then "having too" and not being somewhere where I can licks balls...

Complicating this is this fucktard fucking with the software and making Calvin have to try to make the software more secure (which is futile, theres always a way around shit).

I would imagine all Calvin has to do is change the .CAL layout for future releases, after he obviously finds/fixes the exploit that guy used. He can't get future updates, and his current hacked version can't process newer .CAL files.

If the guy was smarter, he'd sell a value-added chip, more in the grey area. That's basicly how those SPOON/MUGEN/etc chips can sell, I think. (jd don't delete my post plz
