Post up if you've grown up in a two parent household or if you've grown up in a single parent household. I have a theory that needs confirming.

I grew up with 2 untill I was 2, then When I was 7 my mom got remarried, stayed with him until I was 17, then she was single untill I was like 22 or something, But I had already lived on my own for 4 years by then.

I was raised with 2 parents until I was 16 then I moved out to my aunties then grandparents

had 2 parental's the whole time regardless of where I was

Parents divorced when I was 2. Raised by a single mother, had a stepfather since I was 13. Still see my dad a fair bit.

My mom bailed when I was 11-12 and never had a relationship with her again. Would get a phone call every couple months that was about it. Havent spoken to here in maybe 5 years or so.

My dad was to busy banging every whore in the neighborhood so we basically had a house paid for until I graduated high school with no parental guidance. Basically Dad paid all the bills/roof over my head but he would spend the night at one of his many girlfriends houses.

The end of my parents putting effort in I would say ended when I was 12.

well my pos father hasnt been around much in my life so from birth to 7 years i lived with my mom who lived with my grandma/grandpap. she got married then and divorced that guy when i was 11 i think, remarried when i was 14. My only consistent "father figure" has been my grandfather. Bah

I'm adopted. My adoptive parents divorced when I was 14 and re-married. Then I have my recently met biological parents (not together) and my in-laws. Christmas was pretty nuts, we went to 5 different houses.

So,
