Scotch is one of those drinks where it taste so bad i have to assume that most of the folks who drink it are just doing so because it taste so bad and they associate that with manlyness.

I was simply referring to his rum is for women remark. Saying I drink rum or any other alcohol, as long as it isn't the sugary fruity shit. Then the second half of my sentence was agreeing with him that whiskey is good.
