I used to work at the Washington Mutual call center... they shut it down and sent those jobs to the Philippines.  Then the bank failed.  I'm pretty sure I was the only thing keeping it afloat (nothing to do with the "economy" or "subprime mortgage failures").

So anyway, is West Corp there as horrible and disorganized as it is here?  I used to work for West way back in 2003 or 2004, and it was horrible.  At the time, nobody would show up for work.  They'd swipe their badges at the door and go back to their car.  Nobody knew shit and anyone was hired if they could operate a mouse and speak some english (or ebonics).  Management wasn't much better.  It's one of those places that everyone in the area has worked for at least once in their life...

One thing I did like was being able to pick up hours I wanted.  I thought I was hot shit fresh out of high school working 80 hours a week at $10.25 an hour...

Anyway, that really sucks, good luck.

yeah its the same about.  We once hired a parapalegic to answer phones.  FUnny thing is the guy knew his way around a computer.  Using a Bic pen with the little arm on the cap bent at a 45 he would navigate teh keyboard and use the mouse with his chin.  He could pull up COntrol panel faster than i could using hot keys.  Dude was the shit.
