Ive seen a few cars down here, Street driven 15k miles Alum rods 600-700whp EVO...Bearings were fine when the motor came apart...

Not saying its the way to go, but it can be done...

If people are so worried about strength and weight of their rods maybe they should just get Ti or Chrome Moly rods last a lot longer. ;D
