Im looking into buying a real clean 1995 Ek, it used to have a GSR in it now it has an LS....the only problem with it is it wont Rev past 5k?

He never changed the exu from a GSR ecu to an LS ecu when doing the swap, and if its in nuetral it can free rev to 8000 rpm, any ideas on what it could be, because im def interested in buying the car but if its gna rape me to fix it fuck the car.

Get a cheap NOS dry kit, install, and do a 4th gear pull. Fixes everything. Oh and don't forget vids. :P


Could something as simple as replacing the plugs/etc, or the timing is majorly retarded and compounded with the ecu timing/fuel issues from using a P72 ecu. I can't recall what the low-cam maps look like on a P72, but since that's when the IAB's open, it could just be the ecu. Grab a stock p06 if you can and plug it in. It won't have as much power as with a p75 map, but it should run.

Check the ecu harness for signs it was hacked for a VAFC. That almost always fucks things up, given how most mexicans & white teens suck ass at wiring.

thats it...but i think i aint even gna fuxx with it...i found a clean BODY 1998 hx coupe REAL CLEAN black...asking 2500 ill low ball 2000 has 175k and then a even cleaner 2000 ex 136k silver
