Run a stock d16z6 HG, and ARP head studs. They will come with the TQ specs

Have the same studs but going from memory I think 65ft-lbs w/ ARP fastener lube.

But I still search ARP website.

Or a link from D-series that worked for me: http://www.d-series.org/forums/engine-building/111485-how-really-torque-arp-head-studs-straight-arp.html

According to the d-series link I posted the ARP guy said "Alot of the people torquing them down in steps to 75-80 ft lbs he said your asking for trouble..and not sealing any more or putting any more clamping force that way."

Torque specs on the ARP head studs I got for the ls-vtec said 85 ft-lbs :o

IIRC the D16 ones I had were around 65 ft-lbs.

My ARP studs came with a half size piece of paper with the torque specs, yours didn't?

I chuckle every time this subject is brought up.

I would say that ARP is your best source of information on this topic.

80 lb-ft on D16 head studs...

LOL

Make sure you torque them down in 5 lb-ft increments as well.

Hey if people think it's okay to go crazy with used stockers...then must be required on ARP's. ;)

I've had bearings go, rods snap, pumps shatter, clutches explode - but never had ARP's toast a HG if I used a 3 step sequence to recommended torque.

BTW Where the fuck is this guy's n00b post? I see you nogs forgot as well. OP, rules are n00bs must make an intro post that includes good porn. And do not listen to N/A Mike, it can't be gay porn.
