playing hardcore is great for snipers, not so great for other stuff. the fastest way to get points is to play regular mode and just throw out ammo boxes or med kits and let the points rack up.
You've never used the AN-94 much then. Recon is my lowest scored kit, it's boring, however I'm not bad at it. Hell once I sniped a blackhawk's gunner, then driver that was flying a good 100 yards from me, not hovering. Just 2 shots, and I was laughing my ass off.
Just wait until you get the magnum ammo perk, all the other classes are more fun then. I'd say I'm #1 scoring player in 20% of my matches with all unlocks. I tried making a new char, and I'm usually stuck in the low-mid ranks due to crap unlocks. They make a huge difference.
The vehicles aren't meant to be pwnmobiles, they are intended for support & transport.
This isn't a 1-man army game. However, if you play them right, tanks and apc's will own anyone. Half my chopper kills are with a tank's main gun, and I've killed many choppers.
If you compare graphics, its because MW2 changes to low-res models past 2 yards. Silencers are square, etc. In BC2 the grass on ghillie suits are clearly visible at any distance if you have decent resolution on all but the lowest setting (PC). It does take a lot of horsepower tho, that's the problem. Plus MW2 was made for xbox, then ported to PC/PS3. BC2 is optimized for PC, like an online FPS should be.
