truck got robbed

truck got broken into and they stole my sub, my zune 80gb, and my backpack full of books. I'm waiting on the Sheriff to get here to file a report. Whats the best way of catching these guys?

I'd watch your local craigslist.  Chances are they will try to sell your sub.  If you see one you think is yours, meet them to check it out.  Then fuck them up.  Oh, and show up with a different car than the one they broke into.

When my EF hatch was broken into in Huntsville they came out did a full police report with damage assessment and took finger prints which matched a known car thief. He ended up jumping bail after they caught him and let him out. So after my first court date I never heard anything else about it.

My Eclipse got broke into in Madison which is right by Huntsville and I called the police and they asked if there person was still there or if I saw them. I said no to both and they said I would have to drive to the police station and file a report, but nothing else they could do unless I found someone with the items. Lazy bastards
