   So, the friend that I did that Condo Makeover for was swapping around shit and looking for a new race shell for this year. He did a deal where he bought this crx shell and a fucked up EF hatch for $400. He sold the hatch for $150 the day he picked it up. With the mint SI seats in this thing, and the full fartcan, I told him he should be able to sell thos for $250 or so, and that after that he should just tell my son he can have the car, and walk. So he did.

EDIT: Forgot to mention that my friend decided this car was too much work to make our 5 weeks from now 1st race deadline, so he's racing his car from last year.

   Man, Baby Bin-Laden is fucken hyped about this thing. He told me he wants to paint it black and yellow, with flames?  I told him only hot rod cars can do that kind of stuff, and we call those "mexican ricers". He's still got 9 years before he can drive, but I'm always looking for more tools in the "do good at school or I'll fuck you" game.

  Well, I've talked to him about that before, but he won't be able to drive one until he's 8, which would mean next spring/summer. The investment is steep, too. This isn't really about motorsports, rather a more general interest in something he feels is his. If this doesn't work out in his interests, I simply have a crx I always wanted anyway. With the Jr Dragster, I'd be stuck with a $3,000+ go-kart that I couldn't drive and I'd lose my ass on.

  The local circle track kids league thing has a yearly "try it" day, which he had lots of fun at, but again, that's a steep investment for something I can't use if he ditches it. A crx.....different ballgame.
