first ram horn
« on: March 07, 2009, 06:18:52 PM »

Finally got my ass in gear and got back to work

after not being successful making a collector with my cut off wheel i got a buddy to cut and weld it up for me.
$60 + materials was well worth my time.

welded/ported the inside and added a WG bung

finished product

action shot cleaning up the 90s

long story short, got the flange a few years ago. will never sport his logo

thats better

since the vitara build is still on my engine stand... ya my ghetto rig

also welded the stock WG and made a block off plate

Its crooked, sticks out, and might hit the hood ;D
still needs some welding done. un like my first splog im not going to rush and warp this thing to shit.

they got flanges cut for them payed out my ass for that one back in the day (before Arron was here)

long story short IIM broke up in to IIM and evolution

Peter still runs IIM and its going in the shiter (most of the locals know to stay away) he was the parts guy
Kevin joined the sound guys next door and they started Evolution, his business is growing and hes a cool guy to deal with (he cut and welded the collector for me)

The import scene is traditionally really dumb and everyone in it thinks they’re hot shit. There have ALWAYS been domestics that could flay any import… the simple fact is when you have a car that runs 9s you dont feel the need to hunt down and impress Honda owners

Bitchin'. You basically just built exactly what I want to build for my car. What did you weld it up with, MIG?
