Gears of War 3 Trailer - Ashes to Ashes

This might have pushed me over the edge for getting a 360 rather than a PS3.

Lot of games pushed me over the edge to get a 360...  I'm waiting for GT5 for PS3.

Looks like it'll be another good one.  Funny they use a similar style song to advertise this game as they did to advertise GOW2.

I wonder what will keep 360 afloat after GoW3?  When It was announced it would be a trilogy and the 2nd one being amazing, it seems like theres not much to look forward to after this.  Any suggestions or rumors milling around about a new cool shooter series?

The former heads of Infinity Ward (makers of the modern warfare series) were ousted by activision so they wouldn't have to pay them the bonuses they earned for how well that game sold.  They were picked up by EA and set up a new studio, so there should be some decent stuff showing up.

Eh, the Activision/Infinity Ward issue is a bit of a mess.

Activision said there was some subversion going on and the leads were taking trips to visit EA, along with other breaches of contract, and that's why they were released.  People have been leaving Infinity Ward almost daily.

The thing that just ruins Gears for me are how the characters are disproportionate. It just gets on my nerves and makes it feel cheap. I don't know why. That and the overly cartoonish blood.

Nothing has to be around to float the 360. its an awesome affordable platform with a whole bunch of kick ass games. im sure something else insamely cool will come out in the next year for 360.
