That last video shows lay wire really nicely. thats how i do all my pipe welds. Works wonders to get steady consistent welds.

The MIG video is . . . annoying. Pulling MIG welds on steel is 99% of the time correct. It results in a weld that is more ductile and freer of inclusions due to the fact that the shielding gas is covering the pool longer, until the temp drops below the critical point. Pushing is a VERY good technique for thin sheetmetal (like exhuast) welds where you have very small puddles and are moving quickly.

Welding down is a no-no. Vertical down is typically AT LEAST 70% weaker than proper vertical up. Meaning, a crap vertical up is better than a perfect vertical down. His up technique is good, though.

Anyone who wants to know more about welding needs to hit up the AWS books. (American Welding Society.)

Weld hotter then you think you would need to and push, push, push that filler into the puddle. I set the machine at 80 amps ( use 75-80%).  It's a life saver to learn how to do if your in tight spaces.

TIG WEAVE
First video is good. The bead isn't 100% baller *looking*, but for demonstrating the back-step as you dip your filler. Its good.
The uphill video is total crap. If you EVER took a welding test with a bead that poor on vert it would insta fail. The technique is wrong from start to end.
Last video is OK for some small lay-wire. Can't see what's going on, but that's lay-wire

Im going to give you your choice of 1) absolute bullshit you don't know what you're talking about, or 2) you jsut have some things backwards.
First off, Pulling MIG welds is what $9/h niggers do. Not Welders. Secondly there are plenty of processes where vertical downward welds are perfectly acceptable and certified processes.

about the verrtical mig video, when i did my test for 3/8 my first bead looked shitty like the one in the video but my second pass melted into that and looked nice...then continued for more passes and so on, it passed no problem, this was on a butt weld btw
