"The vehicle has nothing in common with the Tacoma and is, in fact, built on a chrome-molly tubular space frame chassis covered in a carbon fiber body. Power is generated by a 2.1-liter, four-cylinder, turbocharged and intercooled engine pumping out something in the neighborhood of 1,000 HP. It can hit 125 MPH in 4.9 seconds"

Damn, normal racing is boring by comparison.  They should bring group B back.

Supposedly, it was a way to keep the turbos cool.  Run it super rich, and the unburnt fuel hitting the turbines would evaporate and soak up some of the heat.  Not sure if that really works.  I know in group B rally they would put water jackets around the turbos.

Geared to have a top speed of 132 MPH... what a waste. Can't keep the power under control, change gears every second, and top out quickly.

Well it was build for rally, and hill climb at that. So there constantly sliding and turning.

Actually it has something in common with the newer yota's: You tap the gas once and you'll be doing 125mph before you know it.

That thing takes some serious balls to drive on taht course. Hell he came 5 ft from rearending the pace truck.

Why go through all that trouble and then put that ugly ass WRX hood scoop on there. If I ever had a WRX it would have to loose that scoop fast and just go to a front mount. Also wtf calling the WRX a "Rex", no no no the only Rex will have been and ever be the CRX.
