i got a Z6 head for cheap, it looks like shit really but i hope it has good valve guides still.

this head has this hole, not us if this is some kinda of EGR shit on this head..

ive seen in other Z6s with the hold close to vtec soneloid blocked but this head has it open.





thinking in block the intake side with JBweld..  :-\

or just installing a Y8 IM or even A6 head will  block it?

IIRC every d-series head I've ever had has those holes cast in it. The stock IM(or any IM for that matter) will block it.
