Here is what I woke up to this morning:

Now I wish I would have worked on the sled, instead of pushing it aside, you can kind of see it in the bottom of the pic

There is about 6" on the ground, and they are calling for another 4" It was still snowing when I left for work, and we passed about 20 cars in the ditch. It has since stopped at work, so I think that is it. Trevor72 is coming out this weekend to look at a motorcycle, so I hope we get some quick melt action.

I'm in Cold Lake though so its not that bad here. I think this past snowfall was the most we had this winter.

Yeah you guys got fucking dumped on, I have a buddy that lives about 30min south of Ft. Mac, and he got 29" at his place in the last dump.

I just should have spent a few hrs on the sled in the pic, rebuilding the carb's and I would have had a perfectly adequate vehicle for today.

Really I would love to live somewhere with better views, and better weather, and better everything, but they really do pay you well to live with shit like this.

Don't feel too sorry for me, I enjoy my time off, I have a few toys.

This morning would have been all sorts of fun, if I would have put less hrs in on the truck, and more hrs in on the sled, but such as life, didn't really think we would be getting enough snow to sled again this season.

Once it runs again, it will get the snail, for the ditch's and flat lands out here I am not sure how much a riser bar is going to do. It is pretty rare that the snow gets deep enough and soft enough that you can boondock. I will probably put some risers on it just because I feel rather bent over when I stand, just like on my dirt bike.

It was cool going and visiting him in bfe. But after 18 years of it, he was done. Your eather a workaholic or a alcoholic up there. But it was cool to just hop on a sled and ride a few miles to the store to pick up a pack of smokes, and that was totaly normal to see.

my last sled was a m7. it would have been turbod by now but we didnt rellay have any snow this year so i sold it

LOL, yeah this one is a big pile of garbage in comparison, but the price was right. I sold the summit x to help fund a business that failed. That thing would have been wild with some boost. None the less I am sure this will be fun too, and it is one of these ones that you don't care if you smash.
