It's a polyglot of times, places, and cultural intolerance sewn together into an alternate representation of modern day America.  The british hate for gingers/Irish is simmering on a back burner, but a hundred and fifty years ago their newspapers were lauding an Drochshaol as the best thing to ever happen.  There are elements of Palestinians being overwhelmed by a far better armed force, as well as Nazi Germany where all the unwanted people were taken somewhere else and disposed of.

It seems farcical to watch the video, but simple genetic or cultural differences are entirely "valid" premise for genocide if you talk to any extremist Arab, Jew, KKK or Black Panther member, most any pureblood anglo-saxon, etc.
