so i got an ipod touch and its cool and all but i would rather have an iphone. hell i need a new phone anyways as mine is randomly powering down on its own all hte time and making me miss calls and text messages.

so im thinkin about going to att but there are a few things i wanna get figured out befor i go and talk to at about and probably get lied to.

1.- i like the fact that for the same price as my account now i get teh same minutes and free internest access.

2.- i dont like that i dont get any text messaging unless i payu extra for it.( i have heard u can d/l  a app that gets u around that but i dont know for sure)

so who has an iphone 3g and wat do u thing about it.

My wife and myself like the iPhone. I just dislike the fact that whenever someone sends a multimedia message I have to go online to "viewmymessage.com" and enter a password.

really. i was about to get a ipohone the other day. my wife and I went to ATT, verizon, t mobile and sprint (I currently have a bb with sprint)

sprint had the best deal, hands down. i also have an ipod touch.

i wanted this a while back but she wouldnt agree to the data plan, now that i say I WANT iphone she says u can get the data plan. lol.

its a sweet phone but the biggest piss off for me was the fact that you cant record video, you cant recieve picture messages and you cant send them, except through email and thats only if you have the $30/mo multimedia package.

the apps you can get for it are awesome. the internet browser is pretty good. the camera takes pretty nice quality pics. you can do a ton of shit with the phone

There are ways to get mms on the iPhone.  You just have to jailbreak it first.  Same with video recording and copy/paste.  I just wish mine had a light on the outside for pics.

the i phone battery is horrible, keep the ipod touch and buy the bb, battery last up to 3 days with "normal" usage plus has bb messanger ftw!

I got the samsung instinct a few months ago. Its ok, with I had a real keyboard, and not a toutch screen keyboard. But I did find out the otherday that I can hook my phone up to my laptop and use it as a modem ant $0 cost to me.  :yes: Everything data plan rocks


I aslo found a bunch of other hacks for this phone and its way better phone now that I can use it to the fullest.
