Improve the extras, your ECU looks like a whole mess of wonderful which I like. Instead of that breadboard monstrosity you could have gone with a much smaller chip if I get what you are trying to do... larger read area on the chip, just ground different pins to read different maps... honda is what, 32 or 64? you could have a several maps on a 256/512 chip =)

It works only if the wire of switch is not so long. This project was started to solve that problem some years ago some customers had problem with ecu stability. Now it doesn't have anymore the max232 but i use one ftdi (i don't remember code) chip for connection to usb. I only was making it because i DON'T believe that if you will look only at project of someone else you and understand it you have value. I prefer homemade even if it is a crap because if you will never do it you will never found problems of manufacturing, and there for you will never achieve some technical level. Guy's i was exploding my first engine ever yesterday ;D. I was never thinking that it was so much fun ;D, seeing some pieces of the block flying was crazy. Fuck i was never so happy as on those 2 seconds
